About Janet

Janet Scott is a Certified General Appraiser and earned the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute.  She is a licensed Real Estate Broker, and Owner of Scott Enterprises Appraisal and Consulting, Inc. Ms. Scott worked in the financial industry throughout her career, and prior to becoming an appraiser, was an Investment Officer at the California State Teachers Retirement System. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance from California State University, Sacramento. Next, she continued her education and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA), with a concentration in Management, from Golden Gate University. She is currently in her third year at the University of Phoenix, School of Advanced Studies, studying to obtain her Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). In 2007, Ms. Scott incorporated Scott Enterprises Appraisal and Consulting, Inc. and acts as President/Owner.

Local Community

Janet Scott has stayed active in the community and is involved in the local school and church. She previously helped maintain the Homeward Bound Golden Retriever and Arthritis Foundation websites for several years. She served in a Chair position for the Arthritis Foundation Walk, as well as an Activity Director and Camp Counselor for the Arthritis Foundation Kid's Camp. Ms. Scott also spent several years serving as a hospice volunteer with Kaiser.
